Up close
Press C in any battle and the camera drops in behind your army. Ride in with your tanks, watch the shells land, then pull back out and command all of it. And that's only the start of this week's update.
The big ones
Close-up camera
Press C or scroll in, and the camera drops low behind the units you've selected. Fight it the way your soldiers see it.
Missile Defense bites
It opens fire the moment an enemy Helicopter enters its range and brings it down in about two seconds. Air raids, beware.
Bigger battles
Faster servers: armies of 1,500 units now run nearly three times smoother. Bring everything you've got.
Bots come for you
Every Bot attacks now. Hard Bots send their first wave about ten minutes in, so build your defences early.
Move your HQ
Build a new HQ anywhere (B, then H). It's free and takes 90 seconds, and when it's done the old one packs up.
Give units to an ally
Select attack units and press T, or tap GIVE. Your ally accepts, and the army is theirs.
Also new
Play on phones
HEX Command now plays on phones and tablets: tap to select, hold and drag for a box, a CLOSE-UP button, and the map and pings on the minimap.
New lobby and party chat
A redone lobby, with chat for you and your party.
Match HUD
A Missions card that opens and scrolls, every Strike as a clock tag on the players row, and a build menu that stays out of the way.
New Training
One short match on Training Grounds with Tutor coaching you, in three Chapters. It's offered, never forced.
The Shop is back
The Supporter Pass is on sale again: a title, an emblem and a banner colour. Looks only, never power.
